Mental Illness Is My Driving Force [Video]

Today is Bell Let’s Talk Day in Canada. A day to open the dialogue around mental health to spread awareness and offer hope to those who feel hopeless.

With this in mind, we are excited to launch a video we’ve been working on for the past couple of months – ‘Mental Illness is My Driving Force’.

Shout out to James Frystak Studio for the amazing filming and editing!!

In this video, our Mavrixx Founder and Head Trainer Brent Seal shares his story of going from suicide attempt and being diagnosed with schizophrenia to summiting some of the world’s tallest mountains.

Brent talks about how mental illness drove him to get fit, the importance of tapping into the mental health community and finding that thing that gets you excited to allow the stress of life to melt away.
